Nick Vamos sits down with Sanjay Suri of CNN News18 India to discuss extradition from the U.K. to India and the reasons why, to date, the U.K. courts have never ordered extradition to India.  Drawing on the example of the Vijay Malaya case, Nick explains the major hurdles the Indian Government will need to overcome, in particular Article 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights – the prohibition against torture or inhuman and degrading treatment – as it applies to Indian prison conditions, the types of evidence the court will consider and the use of assurances.
