Our Head of Fraud and Commercial Disputes Jonathan Tickner has been quoted in the pharma and legal press on Monday’s High Court ruling against Servier’s attempt to limit damages for infringement of competition law in the sale and supply a blood pressure drug.
Jonathan, who is acting for the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, told The Pharma Times: ”Having already lost hundreds of millions of pounds because of Servier’s unlawful behaviour, the NHS will now be able to avoid being dragged into further expensive and time-consuming arguments … a relief at a time when most would agree the NHS is quite stretched enough”.
