Last month, in two separate feats of endurance, the firm raised over £5,000 for Switchback, our firm-supported charity.

Switchback is a brilliant charity working with young men leaving prison in London to help them lead better lives – 91% of prison leavers who take part in the Switchback programme do not re-offend within a year of release, compared to the national average of 45%.

First, on bright day in September, Jasvinder Nakhwal and her nephew Gurbir took part in the annual London to Brighton charity cycle ride, covering an impressive 55 miles from Clapham Common and finishing at Brighton Beachfront.

Then, on another sunny September day, two Peters & Peters teams walked 18km each from opposite sides of London.

One team started at Wormwood Scrubs, in the west, and the other at Thameside prison, in the east, meeting in the middle.

The walkers were:
Michael O’Kane, Vlad Meerovich, Maria Cronin, Neil Swift, Dominic Bullen, Joseph Duggin, Sam Whiteley, Robert Hanratty, Charles Coleman, Liam Lane, James Ware, Julia Steinhardt, Patrick Ormerod, Yazmine Long, Brian McDonald, Merissa Manning, Jessyka Battle, Greg Griffiths, Kerri McGuigan, Ciara Murphy, Will Green, Isabel Phillips, Alice McDonald, Jake Eddison-Cook, Alice Pallant and Anna Ani.

Altogether, the firm raised a whopping £5,633.84 for Switchback.
