This year Peters & Peters is delighted to be fundraising for a fantastic charity called Contact the Elderly. Contact the Elderly is the only national charity solely dedicated to tackling loneliness and social isolation among older people. Supported by a network of volunteers, the charity organises monthly Sunday afternoon tea parties for small groups of older people, aged 75 and over, who live alone. The tea parties offer a regular and vital friendship link every month – sometimes the only contact available. We are aiming to raise enough this year to establish three new groups which would mean that 30 otherwise isolated elderly people can take part.

Team P&P will be cycling the 54 miles from Clapham Common to Brighton on Sunday 11 September 2016. The 14 P&P team members are Michael O’Kane, Charlotte Tregunna, William Green, Anthony Eskander, Anna Bradshaw, Katherine Chivers, George Pizzey, Iwona Boesche, Craig Hogg, David Jones, Katherine Lloyd, Toby Bradshaw, James Evans and Ian Facer.
