Two new partners at Peters & Peters
The partners of Peters & Peters are very pleased to announce the appointment of Charlotte Tregunna and Vlad Meerovich to the partnership as of 1 May 2023.
Charlotte Tregunna joined Peters & Peters in 2010. She is very widely known in the field of business crime and investigations, and has an exceptional reputation for acting in cross-border criminal investigations and disputes for corporations and prominent individuals. She has particular expertise in complex fraud, corruption and money laundering cases, extradition and INTERPOL matters, and private prosecutions.
Charlotte has acted for companies across a wide range of industry sectors and for individuals including royalty, celebrities, financiers and members of government.
She is currently acting in the UK’s biggest ever set of criminal appeals on behalf of Post Office Ltd.
Charlotte is recognised for championing the careers of young lawyers around the world, in her capacity as President of the Commercial Fraud Commission of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA). She has a strong interest in the emerging and complex area of cryptocurrency and digital assets and is a member of the Association for Women in Crypto.
Dr. Vlad Meerovich is a specialist in cross-border civil disputes and international arbitration. He has particular expertise in complex corporate and financial fraud cases, and has deep knowledge of cases involving parallel criminal and civil proceedings, both in the courts and in arbitral forums.
Vlad joined Peters & Peters in 2009 and has worked on a wide range of civil matters including freezing injunctions, corruption, dishonesty and fraud cases, money laundering, price-fixing and unlawful financial assistance. He is especially skilled in cases arising from business acquisitions, failed investments and trusts. A native Russian speaker, Vlad has acted for individuals and entities all over the world including India, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Russia, Ukraine and the United States.
